Protect the surface, preserve the finish.

Linnstone quartz is designed for everyday life, with a surface that stays easy to care for when cleaned regularly and treated with the right products. Natural variation in tone and veining is part of the material's character, and it never affects performance. For best results, ensure surfaces are correctly supported for their thickness and installed on straight, level cabinetry and walls to maintain clean seams and consistent alignment.

Regular Cleaning

Stains

Scrub with cleaner and rinse neutral, or low PH cleaners

Adhered Materials

Scrape away the excess material and clean with a damp cloth

Textured Finishes

Use soft scrub liquid gel for marks; not recommend for high-traffic areas

Daily Maintenance

Avoid Chemicals

Avoid exposing the quartz to chemicals with a PH level outside a range of 5-8

Avoid Abrasive Cleaners

Avoid cleaners with abrasive or strong alkaline/acid or free radicals or oxidizers

Avoid Hitting

Avoid hitting surfaces edge and dropping heavy objects

Avoid Scratching

Use a cutting board and avoid sharp objects

Heat Caution

Use a hot pad or trivet to prevent high temperature

Avoid Exposure to Sunlight

Minimize direct exposure of Linnstone quartz surfaces to sunlight

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do Linnstone quartz surfaces vary in color and pattern?

Linnstone quartz surfaces use natural materials, so variation in color, pattern, size, shape, and shade is an inherent characteristic of the product. These differences are expected and do not affect performance. In some designs, tonal variation and color flecks are intentional, added to enhance the surface's natural character.

How should Linnstone quartz surfaces be supported?

Linnstone quartz surfaces are not structural supports and must be properly supported for their application. Slabs at 2 cm or 3 cm thickness are intended for countertops and require adequate support. Slabs under 2 cm are intended for quartz surface finishes such as walls, tub/shower surrounds, and fireplaces. Any horizontal application (including tub decks) must be fully supported.

What should be considered during installation?

Best results depend on properly prepared walls and cabinetry. Quartz surfaces should be installed onto structures that are sound, straight, level, and square. Inadequate preparation can lead to seam issues, poor fit, and inconsistent overhangs or alignment.
