Job Brief

The position is primarily tasked with setting quotas, evaluating and adjusting performance, and developing processes that drive sales.

Responsibilities

1. Nurturing existing customer relationships and develop relationships with potential customers within specific territory.

2. Visit and contact prospective clients to establish selling opportunities.

3. Visit sites to assess gather information from customers.

4. Manage displays, samples, and sell tools for customer availability.

5. Assist customers by providing knowledge and training the company products to their store personnel, to ensure personnel is able to present product and negotiate well with customers.

6. Prepare proposals, quotes, contracts and orders for potential customers.

7. Quota prices discuss credit terms, and prepare sales contracts for customer orders.

8. Estimate the date of delivery to the customer based on the understanding of the company’s delivery schedules.

9. Review and analyze various sales reports to identify sales potential with current customers and potential new customers.

10. Utilize any and all marketing tools such as catalogs, brochures to broaden reach in territory and promote company products.

11. Research and analyze customer needs and demands based on market information.

12. Investigate and resolve customer claims /problems with deliveries, returns and credits.

13. Attend trade show throughout the year as required.

14. Travel 50% locally, occasionally nationally, and /or internationally.
Prepare and maintain monthly sales report as required.

15. Other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business administration.

2. At least 3 years of sales experience in the quartz industry.

3. Proven track record of success and the sales cycle form plan to close.

4. Ability to travel at least 50% of the time.

5. Have strong analytical skills, excellent leadership abilities, and exceptional customer service skills with ability to pay attention to detail.

6. Excellent communication and inter-personal skills, reporting skills and ability to analyze Information.

7. Must be able to work without direct supervision.

8. High level of Integrity.

9. Self-driven, ambitious, able to work autonomously, be results orientated and determined with a passion to succeed.

10. Must be a quick learner with strong negotiating skills.

11. A team player who recognizes the importance between balancing internal and external relationships.
